With the customer in mind, we decided to negotiate a contract to obtain the precise equipment needed to supply the customer with this particular style.
Challenge
Originally the client came to us with a Chinese style box that we were able to convert to an Auto Bottom design, which the customer used for years. They then decided that they wanted to try a “Clamshell” design with glued corners. This was something that we did not have the capability of doing with our existing equipment. They attempted to find someone else, but were unsuccessful, and ultimately returned to us and asked what it would take to justify purchasing the equipment that would be needed to fulfil their request.
